Ⅰ.What is Sekino Racing Sport?

The origin of the name of “Sekino Racing Sport” is a surf team of top-level in Japan "Sekino racing board riders club" started as a surfing club in Kamakura Inamuragasaki in the 1980's.
It is not a race of the car but the marine sports racing to run quickly on sea like yachting race is an origin.

Mitsunobu Sekino (Representative director) and Satoshi Sekino (Executive director) founded this company in May, 1991.
They are brothers, and both were top professional surfers who led surf scene in Japan of the 80's.
They took an active part in the world based on Shyonan Kamakura.

At that time, they were famous that all surfers in Japan knew them.
Especially, Satoshi Sekino who is younger brother was extremely famous surfer as the Japanese who won a lot of glories.
He was the champion during year of JPSA(Japan Pro Surfing Association) in 1991,
and He kept participating in the world tour of ASP(Association of Surfing Professionals) for three years.



Ⅱ.Business

The surf division utilized experience as surfer for work, involved in the opening event and the facility management of the indoor type pool “Wild Blue Yokohama”(Tsurumi Ward of Yokohama City) which suddenly became well known for its wave pool.
It positively paid attention to Hawaii,Australia,California beforehand, and built up implications with them.
It import and sell the commodity of surfing and skating, and has given the billing of top class in the wholesaler of surf articles in Japan.

The wave information division have made wave information using line of NTT known on a nationwide scale since the 1990's.
It played an important role to establish the surfing culture in Japan. (Its name was changed to “Namitsu” now.)

The Hawaii division sell imported goods from Hawaii and develop house brand “Hula Hawaii”.
The first direct-management shop was opened in March, 2001 supported by “Hula supply center company” in Honolulu
Today, It have 30 direct-management shops and wholesale to about 700 retailer shops,
These are the largest scale of sales market of Hawaiian goods in Japan.
Moreover, It plan and manage huladance, Hawaiian event, concert, etc.. It works on not only sales but also the overall entertainment.



Ⅲ.SAVE THE EARTH PROJECT

“Have a deep love for nature and the environment, Don’t foget Feeling of thankfulness”

The event at Roppongi Hills Arena in June, 2008 started “SAVE THE EARTH PROJECT” with Ms. Cassy Nakajima.
We get the mind healed, and become gentle feelings by touching the hula and the culture of Hawaii. The mind of the love is ALOHA.
The reason why I started this charity event,we would like to send ALOHA to the disadvantaged all over the world.
We contribute the share of proceeds to them through UNICEF etc..
